Weird Vege in Sarawak

Have you ever digested "paku-pakis" before. I did it once. It was then my trip to Borneo, East Malaysia. As you all should know, our school science teacher taught us about "paku-pakis". It can be considered as a wild plant. How can a person consume a wild plant just like that.... This is what I thought of at first.

There are quite a number of "paku pakis" species. In Sarawak, there are "Midin Hijau", "Midin Merah", "Paku Ikan" & "Paku Keruk". The one I had was "Midin Hijau"...I guess so... It looks weird to have such vege but honestly it taste not that bad. I don't think it can be found any stalls selling "Midin" in Peninsular Malaysia. Can have a try if you have the chance.
